Description

A daring do-it-yourself cocktail kit based on the traditional Dark 'n Stormy. Contains dried lime garnishing ginger beer and dark rum. Just squeeze in some fresh lime juice, then pour over ice for a cool drink with a twist of spice.

What you'll need at home

We’ve packed everything you need to craft a delicious cocktail, except for a few simple bar basics:

  • Ice. Essential for the perfect chill
  • Glassware of your choice. We recommend a tumbler or short glass for the perfect serve.
  • A stirring spoon is optional but ideal for mixing evenly. No shaking needed for this one.
  • Fresh lime if you want to add a zesty squeeze.

Everything else? Already in the box.

The Forecast Recipe

What you will need:

45ml Killik Handcrafted Rum Gold

140ml Bickford's Ginger Beer

Ice

Fresh Lime cut into quarters

Dried Lime Slice to garnish

How to make it:

Fill a short tumbler with ice and pour in 45ml of the Killik Hand Crafted Rum Gold.

Add in a good squeeze of fresh lime juice and give the drink a stir.

Top with Bickford's ginger beer (about half the bottle).

Garnish with your dried lime slice and slip into something stormy.

How we mix it

Bree's preferred method Bree like's to keep it light so she sticks with 30ml of rum topped with ginger beer and a generous squeeze of lime. It's mellow, a little zesty and just right for me.
Nath's preferred method Nath prefers a bit more spice. He mixes 60ml of vodka with ginger beer, plenty of lime, a good amount of ice, and two lime garnishes to finish. A bolder mule with that extra bite.
