What started as a love for open-fermented sour beers soon evolved into something stronger. Founded by Ben Pratt, alongside his brother Cal and cousin Andrew, Killik began as a craft brewery experimenting with wild fermentation. Their deep dive into flavour led them to the funky, character-rich world of Jamaican rum, and it was love at first sip.

Now, Killik stands as one of Australia’s few distilleries dedicated to high-ester, Jamaican-style rum. Every batch is fermented wild, made with molasses, muck, and dunder, then distilled using custom-built stills. All handcrafted to deliver bold flavour and serious rum character. Unique is an understatement.

Killik Silver Rum

Killik’s high-ester Silver Rum is light in colour but bold in flavour. Think stone fruit, pear, bubblegum, and a touch of molasses. Distilled wild in Ferntree Gully, this unaged rum is perfect for cocktails that need a crisp kick with a bit of edge. It’s our go-to for daiquiris, mojitos, and frozen rum delights.
